Guerrilla Entrepreneurs the Seminar

Posted in Business Things, Personal on July 2nd, 2010

So I’ve been planning this for a while now. It started out as something different (but that’s the topic of another post :P ) and now it’s come to fruition. I’m happy to introduce to you Guerrilla Entrepreneurs my new website on Entrepreneurship – or rather 21st Century Entrepreneurship! I’m kick starting the whole thing with a series of free talks and a kick arse seminar!

I’m so excited I could burst!

If you’re in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Jakarta or Bangkok, try and come for the seminar – promise you won’t regret it.

Why did I do this?

I’ve always loved the idea of entrepreneurship – my mother was an entrepreneur. The thing that I didn’t like about entrepreneurship was that it seemed to take up all of your time. I remember my mother working constantly. She was never able to take a vacation because there was never anyone to take care of the small business that she ran. I remember thinking to myself that there has to be a way for a person to have a business and still be able to create a balance in work and life.

Of course my mum said that, that idea was impossible!

Somehow though, in the past few years I have been meeting amazing people who are successfully running their own business and living the life of their dreams! I realized that these people have what I call the 5 pillars of 21st Century Entrepreneurship which are:

  • Doing something in line with your passion
  • Making money
  • Living a life of balance
  • Having experiences money can’t buy
  • Being part of something bigger than yourself and giving back to the world

What is it that these people are doing that is allowing them to live the life of their dreams, while others struggle to even take a holiday?

I don’t know about you, but I certainly wanted to know! I mean this is my life I’m talking about. If I could live it doing something I love, making money and having an all round kick arse life, I’m sure as hell gonna take it!

So here we are now with Guerrilla Entrepreneurs – the roadmap to 21st century entrepreneurship. My take on how we can create this lifestyle. I’ve got people who are doing this to come and train you on how you can do it too. If you can’t make it for the paid event on August 4th (it is only RM299 / US$92) I’m also having free talks (July 7th and 8th) so that you can still reap some benefits. Do try and make it for any of them, I promise that you’ll benefit from them.

Mentors | How important are they to your success?

Posted in Business Things, Self Mastery on March 2nd, 2010

The word mentor has been flung about like your success depends solely on this one criteria. It puts pressure on people to seek out that one elusive mentor that will guide them to the path of success. Is this really necessary? Check out my video where I talk about mentors, if we really need them and do we already have mentors in our lives.

Thanks for watching! If you like this video, check out my other post and subscribe if you want free updates right in your inbox -no spam! Promise! :D

Is your passion really going to make you money?

Posted in Business Things on February 21st, 2010

I know, after almost drowning you with videos on how your passion will make you money, I come out and question myself? Just a moment now, before you flip me off and leave, let me explain myself.

I have no doubt that your passion will make you money. However blind passion with just ‘you + your passion’ in mind will not get you too far. The thing about being successful is that it requires a certain amount of ‘giving back to the world’ for it to work (Check out my interview with Melissa Greczy to see what she has to say about this). Let me explain…
