About Hani and Sandy

Hani Gurung Khaursar - Founder and unicorn lover
(Since I find it hard to toot my own horn, this bit right here is going to be in third person. However I do not make it a habit to talk about myself in the third person - in case you're wondering :P)
From chilling with cult bands in New York City to hanging out with up- and-coming Irish rock stars in Tokyo to flying to Amsterdam to meet up with a spiritual leader and rocking it out with top business professionals in LA, Hani has created a life with no boundaries.
Starting out at a very young age as a writer and then moving on to television as a host, actress and sometimes model, Hani now spends her time mostly behind the camera directing, editing and dreaming and building her company La Fabrica de Wanderlush.
I have huge passions about many-a-things. Some might even call me a scanner. I function best when I have at least 3 things to focus on. I love nothing better than to curl up with a good book, or take a nice warm bath, or have a deep and connected talk with good mates! I enjoy learning about myself - learning any new skill really, figuring out how to live optimally and bouncing around the world, travelling and learning (MORE!!). I follow a mainly primal diet, love to take long walks, do HIIT kettlebell and crossfit training and yoga. During my free time I hunt down people to interview for this blog, write letters (and posts them), sharpen my collection of pencils, re-organize my zombie survivor army list (what you don't have one??), brush up on my filmmaking skills and watch Cougar Town and Community - best shows ever!
My mission is to encourage human connection by means of film, education, music and the internet (oh how I heart the internet) because I believe that the world can can change if only we connected more with one another.
Find me on twitter @honeypenny.
Sandra Leong - writer and yogini :)
I like to think of myself as an easy-going, free-spirited sort of girl who enjoys the simple pleasures of life.
A good cup of chai coupled with an equally good book, vintage hunting (clothes, bags, hats, records and anything else I can get my grubby little hands on), beautiful beaches, nasi lemak, sharing a cackle, laugh, and snort with good friends, and sleeping in on a cold rainy day with some Nina Simone.
I am a glutton for puppy cuddles.
I am also a devout yoga practitioner and instructor with the tendency to end up in a Slayer concert head banging and putting my years studying psychology to use by rationalizing me and my mates bad behaviour.
There are a few things that get me bent out of shape at times, things that I wholeheartedly believe in and fight for, namely love, justice, respect and understanding.
I try to live in alignment with my passions, and believe that being happy is the best accessory; that growing, learning, and trying new things is the elixir of youth; that the only conversations worth having are ones spoken from the heart; and truly authentic relationships and connections are the food and balm of the soul.
I also have a long-standing crush on Bryan Kest. Call me.
